Transit around town
If possible, we encourage you to walk or use the MBTA (aka the "T") instead of renting a car. Most of our listed hotels are walkable to all wedding events. This keeps your costs down and avoids the hassle of parking.
If needed, taxi or uber service is very reasonable. There is a cab stand at the Marriott, and local companies like Metro Cab have mobile phone apps to request pickup anywhere in the Boston metro area.
Transit from the airport
Public transit: ~45 min, free: From any BOS terminal, take the free MBTA silver line bus all the way to South Station. Then, transfer to the red line (take the direction towards Alewife) and get out at Kendall Square, just after the train crosses the Charles River. The Marriott hotel sits on top of the Kendall Square station.
Taxi: ~25 min, $35 with tip. Look for the taxi stand at any BOS terminal.
